Beschreibung

Firewire-800 PC-Card für PC Notebooks

Mit der hier angebotenen Firewire-800 PC-Card werden Sie keine Geschwindigkeitssorgen mehr plagen. Die zwei 9-poligen Firewire-800-Ports können bis zu 800 MBit/s übertragen. An dem dritten 6-poligen Port können Sie Ihre alten Kabel für den Anschluss von Firewire-400-Geräten verwenden. Die 9-poligen Buchsen sind bilingual, d.h. Sie können mit 9-auf-6- bzw. 9-auf-4-Adapterkabel auch 6- und 4-polige Geräte anzuschließen.

Optional kann ein externes Netzteil (12VDC, Minus außen, Plus innen) seitlich eingesteckt werden, um die Stromversorgung des Notebooks zu entlasten. Der Strom des Netzteils wird auf den Firewire-Bus eingespeist, so dass externe-Geräte mit Bus-Power betrieben werden können.

Zu beachten ist, dass die PC-CARD nur an Notebooks mit 32-bit PC Card Bus (Typ II) angeschlossen werden kann. Voraussetzung ist zudem die Nutzung von Windows 98SE, ME, Windows 2000 oder Windows XP. Bei Windows 98SE ist die Installation der über das Internet verfügbaren Microsoft Firewire-Updates zu empfehlen.

Die Lieferung erfolgt ohne Firewirekabel. Für einen Camcorder benötigen Sie z.B. ein Kabel vom Typ 4 auf 6 oder eines vom Typ 4 auf 9. Solche Firewirekabel sind bei partsdata in Längen ab 50 cm im Programm.
